The Strahov Monastery Brewery is hidden in a historic monastery founded in 1142, just a few steps from the Prague Castle. Master brewers have been crafting amazing beer here for more than 600 years, and we are proud to continue the tradition. Since the year 2000, Saint Norbert beer has been brewed at the monastery, and the doors opened to the brewery restaurant and courtyard pavilion to beer lovers from around the world. The beer is named after the founder of the Premonstratensian Order, who have inhabited the Strahov Monastery since the beginning. More than 25 delicious beers are brewed at the Strahov Monastery, using the finest ingredients and brewing methods. Participants can look forward to beer tasting along with traditional Czech cuisine.
The Strahov Brewery is very well accessible by public transport and car. Bus 143 or 149 from Dejvická station located near the Wienna House Diplomat Prague hotel takes you straight to Malovanka stop, which is around 5 minutes walking distance from the Brewery.
